Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) is continuing to roll out its brand new 'Community Health Prevention Project' thanks to a successful bid to Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System for £250,000. Contributing to health improvement, HDC will build on the successful work of last years 'Health Inequalities Project'.
As part of the next phase of the project we want to work with voluntary groups and community sector partners to deliver a coordinated programme to address the prevention of cardiovascular disease and frailty.
Funding is now available to develop sustainable activity that will prevent, or delay,
frailty or cardiovascular health issues for Huntingdonshire residents.
