Final Edition of Life Magazine - Autumn 2025

Well, here we are. After almost five decades, and nearly 600 editions, the Great Staughton & Perry Life Magazine is officially closing.
You’ll notice this final issue is a bit bigger than usual, and all colour too. And I hope you like the special cover as well - it took me quite a while to put together! I knew it made sense keeping all those old magazine files...
I’ve written a proper goodbye letter at the back of the magazine, and we’ve had pieces from Bob Jewell, Anthony Withers, and a few little lovely messages from our contributors talking about Life.
I would just like to say here that I feel genuinely honoured to have played a little part in the history of this beloved magazine, and it was actually quite sad putting together this issue. I hope you enjoy reading this packed Autumn 2025 edition. It’s lovely to see so many events happening in our ‘Dates for your Diary’.
