Declaration of Result of Poll Great Staughton Neighbourhood Plan

Thank you to all who voted on the Neighbourhood plan (NP).
Nearly 1 in 4 voted which sounds poor but it is much higher than many local Council by-elections and other NP.
The result is a ringing endorsement of the plan with over 92% voting Yes.
The plan will now be used in providing guidance on all planning decisions in the Parish. The Parish Council believes it provides for some development to sustain the village whilst limiting the extent.
The plan can and should be reviewed over its 11 year life.
